Well this is my first blog post due to the fact that I have been overwhelmed with school work and water skiing. I have been gone the last few weekends competing for Iowa State at collegiate water ski tournaments against many other different schools. This past weekend we competed in the regionals tournament in Decatur, Illinois where we placed 3rd out of the 50 teams in the Midwest. We earned a spot to compete in the divisions 1 national tournament in Phoenix, Arizona the 16-18 of October. Water sports are my true passion in life and I am always involved in something to do with water sports, so I figure that might as well be what my blog is about. I will talk about how I got involved and keep you up to date on what the cyclone water ski team is doing as well as explain what exactly it is that we do at these tournaments and how they work.
